A generous nature!
\nThe growing cycle (whether it be bud burst, flowering or ripening) has been particularly
\nrapid and homogeneous with very favourable climatic conditions for the plant during flowering.
\nWe therefore had a good fruit set rate, allowing us to obtain at the end of the cycle
\ncomfortable returns, which hadn't happened for over a decade. It must be recognised
\nthat nature has been particularly generous.
\nThe summer was marked by slight water stress for the vines, but not excessively.
\nSeptember was also perfect, without excessive heat but with beautiful sunshine
\nas well as cool nights over the past few weeks. It was a long period of maturation, which
\nis generally the secret of great vintages!
\n\u00abThe blend for this vintage is composed of 60% of CS and 40% of Merlot. The latter are proving
\nvery fresh, both
